Jesus is the vine

This is an illustration of a Vine who has sent it's roots far to seek the nourishment and water the branches need to produce abundant fruit. The branch is solidly connected to the vine and is resting on the line the vinedresser has placed for it's support.  It's total dependance on the Vine and the line the vinedresser has placed for it to rest on is a living example of our need to abide in Jesus and completely rest in His care and sustenance and our Heavenly Fathers care. Sadly a branch lays withered and dry on the ground that became disconnected to the vine as a silent reminder of what we are without abiding in Jesus.
