Crossing Jordon

Israel crosses the Jordan River as priests carry the veiled Ark of the Covenant on its poles across the exposed riverbed. The gathered tribes stand along the bank and fill the distant wilderness, witnessing the Lord open the way into the promised land. The sacred ark, covered for transport, marks the presence and covenant faithfulness of God going before His people.
